Not sure if you can repair it yourself but, Garmin offer a fantastic repair service. Check out their web-site or give them a ring, their very helpful.

Got the Garmin V back yesterday,
... but unfortunately my software had to be re-installed and doesn't want to load. Apparently I need a setup disc for the City Select which I never seemed to have received (bought if from ebay, but how did it work in the first place??? ).

Have now talked to Garmin loads a times and they tell me they are out of setup discs and keep telling me it'll be only a few days ... . Anyone got a disc which s/he could copy and send to me (in return for p&p and a little extra for the effort), PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE:D .

THANKS

Martin
