Replacement discs

Advised to replace my twin front floating disks on the F800GS (excessive free play on the bobbles, fair call)

Ordered two Brembo replacements, which when unpacked turn out to be fixed discs no bobbles. Packing order says these have replaced the OE ones.

Question : Is it ok to fit these even though the OE design called for floating disks?

Don't know where you ordered them from but they have sent you the wrong ones. . . . . How do I know this, the same thing has happened to me. I thought the same as you but if you look at the discs the inner "spider" for want of a better word is directional so you would be fitting one back to front, Hope this makes sense. The supplier that I bought mine from was very helpful and managed to find the correct ones but they were more expensive due to them been floating discs, (the supplier was bike toque racing very helpful guys and refunded the postage and gave some discount on the re-supplied discs) Hope this helps you

Mine were ordered from Demon Tweeks in Wrexham but were supplied by Bike Torque Racing. I'll give them a ring after the Easter break but it sounds as if only twin floating ones can go back on
