Hi guys,

Was at motorcycles live NEC yesterday and spoke with the guy from datatag, he has got me thinking?

My question is if the original engine was marked with datadots what are you meant to do now you have a new engine ect? Buy another kit I suppose most people will say!

Datatag guy also gave me a UV light source to check my bike over and I can't find a single uv etching!

Anyone else had any problems with this or am I just being over protective?

I informed datatag of new engine number along with a copy of v5 and in my kit I have a little bottle of "paint" and I have put a little drop on the new engine
Hope that helps

Mate that's great but the dealer fitted mine and didn't give me the bottle all I got was the paperwork oh and 3 stickers that look like they haven't been used!

I personally wouldn't worry about it Steve

How many threads have you read on this very site about GS's & GSA's being stolen?

Now think ..... how many bikes have ever been found and returned to their owners because of Datatag?

Now then!
Oh, hold on, that would be... none?

Lmfao fair one guys

I guess I should just save my money! Lol

Out of interest I take it all the Stolen bikes are on a ferry quicker than you could ride to Dover!
