Replacement Radiators

You do wonder why they picked this model given how few of these bikes are around ... but fair play to them.
However, I would also say the efforts of others on here to come up with a *quality* replacement ought to be rewarded with orders.
 
Whilst I'd placed an order for six of the UK manufactured ones, they have yet to be delivered.

I am tempted to get one of these Chinese ones to see how they compare. Will update if I do
 
If u offer 143 it will be accepted.
Looked at my xcountry today and it appears to be in good nick. I do have mudguard extension so that possibly helps.

It's one of those things that you may need in a few years or not.

Hi, I am also looking to replace the radiator of my X Challenge 2008. I heard that there is a company in UK who is making a very good radiator for the X Challenge. Can you help me to find them? Thanks a lot! Bob VC
 
Alas seller confirms that it does NOT have a thermostat. What a shame- a bit short sighted IMHO

Hi. Yes,I did have a good quality aftermarket one made up by a UK company. However, since that point a damned near identical replica has been on sale on eBay from a Chinese company. Even the welding for the diverter plate is in the same place.
I've ordered a Chinese one and, whilst welding isn't as polished,the overall rad does appear acceptable. It's a lot cheaper as well.
 
yep I've succumbed and ordered one .....£143 on best offer. we'll see what it's like 👍
 
Did anyone notice the small print? Looks like price doesnt include shipping or any import taxes?

Im thinking there may be a unpleasant letter arrives before the parts saying they will not be released by customs until x amount is paid. I hope not.
 
well....can confirm radiator delivered and no extra charges, fees, or anything. looks great, happy days 😀
