At the weekend I serviced my Brakes by cleaning them, lubing, and replacing the fluids.

The left hand calliper was no problem as it had a bleed nipple on it.

I didn't replace the brake fluid on the RHS one because it doesn't have a bleed nipple, just a black cylinder with a torq screw in the end.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Hi Lee,
You`ll be needing to pop into the bmw shop and purchase a standard bleed nipple for it. Remove the cylindrical thing on the caliper & replace with the new nipple. The cylindrical thing is a one way valve used to fill the system at the factory(so I heard).

it's a grub screw - and it's a Hex head not a torq -

unscrew the grub screw and push the small ball bearing down with a fine pick, as you pull the front brake lever , you'll now have a faceful of brake fluid -

so screw a spare bleed nipple into where the grub screw goes, and it works the same as a standard bleed nipple - unscrew it when you've finished, and re-insert the grub screw -

you bleed the 1150 clutches the same way -

Steptoe - Thanks for that - I was wondering myself how it's supposed to work!

One question - Anyone know where I can get Stainless brake pins and bolts from?
