I don’t use the MyRouteplanner’s reverse route function very often.
But, if you do, it’s maybe worth noting that when you reverse a route with, say, a shaping point (or worse, points) on a motorway heading south, the reversed version will not lift the point(s) onto the other carriageway, heading north. This means that the reversed route heading north will take you along both carriageways, more than once.
Here’s an example, I have created very quickly:
OUTWARDS ORIGINAL
REVERSED
Zoom in a bit on the reversed version, to see how the route exits at motorway junctions, to journey back down the other carriageway and the mess it made of the bypass below Cambrai.
Here’s an example at shaping point 27 on the reversed route. Have fun, if you are following the route instructions blindly:

It’s of course easy enough to drag the troublesome point(s) onto the correct carriageway and / or to correct the glitch at Cambrai. But, if you were to not do it (or not correct one or two) then much shouting at a dumb device might then occur. Above all, it’s a waste of piss boiled anger, as (of course) the dumb device cannot hear you.
