Guys, I had my 2010 GSA lowered by 40mm today by Revs Racing and I want to say a) how fantastic the change was to me and my GSA and b) how fantastic the geezer were who looked after my bike.
The bike is transformed - no, I am not hard core so I don`t need the travel anyway (my respect for the hard core guys - who all must be over 6ft - remains undiminished
) and having to tippy toe around has been, quite honestly, a very nervous experience (and I`ve been biking since my 16 year old moped days!). I feel safe on the thing now and sooooo much more happier
. I have also had the side stand replaced. The shocks have been replaced with fully adjustable Wilbers german engineering units. It could have been my glee and rose coloured glasses but the handling seemed much more improved too
- not being a `spring geek` I have no idea why (better quality units
) but for sure she is muchly improved
The Geezers and the service was fantastic - those who know me know that I am obsessed with service, hand made parts and the appreciation of my work (oh, and all the wine you guys send me
). This is what I stand for as I see far too much sh*te out there mass produced with cost engineered out and made by some faceless geek in some far away place who really doesn`t give a toss about what he makes or for whom. It`s this attitude, I think, which has got me as a valued supplier to BMW Park Lane
It was an awesome refreshing change to see EXACTLY the same commitment, focus, PRIDE and `nothing is too difficult` attitude from the geezers in Brum - honesty - I know this sounds like an unashamed plug and it is. it`s really good to see that British pride and craftsmanship is alive and kicking in not just my pants
Guys, if you need your bike lowering THESE are the guys to do it. They have a fantastic reputation (I checked), know what they are doing and simply care about what they do!
I read about lots of complaints on the forum (mostly justified) and it pleases my ass off so tell you all about Revs Racing.
it has transformed my bike and I am very thankful to all at Revs Racing
Best regards, ride carefully,
mark

and maybe for another thread but I did feel for him - it made my replacement engine bar issue (through rust) seem rather petty...........
