Been looking at these and i like the look of them and have been impressed with my old (very old) richa gortex suit which is now not as water proof as it once was, any way i was wondering if any one had any experience with this new textile. If so what do you think to it and is it worth the extra cost over the normal textile suits?

Thanks in advance :thumb2

is this the one with the waterproof outer? If so i am interested too . Spoke to a bloke touring Scotland he reckons that they are supposed to be more waterproof than the rukka stuff? Do you have a link to which jacket you are interested in by any chance?

How can you get more waterproof than ...... totally waterproof, which is what Rukka is :blast

I dont know, ask the fella I was taking to (who was dressed in a Rukka suit lol) I'm only repeating what I was told. He said he had slight problems with his and was going to try Richa.

Anyway, back on subject. These Richa suits look the Bizz.

My problem is I dont like the outer getting sodden right through and heavy (and cold when wet), maybe this new stuff is the way to go?

Just to keep you guys updated, i went ahead and bought one of these suits and so far have ridden in 34c sunshine where it managed to keep me as cool as you would wish to be on the bike, i have also rode in torrential rain for 2 hours in it to which it kept me bone dry apart from a slighlty damp arse (seat was soaking wet and water came out when u pushed down on it).

Ive just returned from germany where again temperature varied from 4c to 34c it pissed down with rain a few days and was boiling on others i was the only person out of the 8 who was dry as a bone and managed not to sweat my tits off in the heat.

I can highly recommend these suits their cock on :thumb

oh and since they arnt full of layers their fairly light too :)

When I say it was torrential rain I mean it would of been more dry if you was underwater lol. Im happy any ways :)

I know what you mean mate. Im glad your happy with your suit.

Came back down the M74 from Glasgow and saw nowt like it.
Torrential and with the spray off the cars.....
The shitty alpine stars thin waterproof 2 piece over suit was useless.

Got home and orderd a Rukka ArmaS suit. £1140 delivered from bikerland.de
The correspondence was first class and a brilliant service (if it turns up like they say it will lol).

Went with the Rukka over the Richa as I was worried of reports that fuel spillage etc could ruin the outer C Change stuff?
