RID issues

All I have done is change a battery. Am at a loss.

Before the battery change everything worked. I have HIDs but have had them for years with no issues.

My fuel gauge won't work and my temp gauge when warm has two bars and third flashing. Gear position works. That's until I have just had another fiddle.

Have checked the RID multi plug, no corrosion,nothing loose. The RID indicates 0 for neutral, but won't display any other gear. If I remove fuse 1 it does work. As soon as I put it back, it won't.

Aaaaarrrgggghhhh.

Disconnect your HID power supply and see if the problem goes away...

Hi think you need to pull fuse 3 and replace that should reset same happened to me

Your solution is to move the HID ballast further away from the RID. I had the same problem and after I did this I never had an issue.
