Apparently it has been sunny all day back home- typical. Had a great ride out- apart from our cow sh*t moment- wouldn't want to repeat that again in a hurry. Took a few pictures when we were parked up at Bala- I have just chucked my bike in the garage- will clean it next week.

Philzafuka- bet you are out with the cotton buds cleaning the last bit of muck from your bike- it was immaculate when we set off. Oh how I wish I had your traction control coming down that hill.

Apparently the long range forecast for autumn and winter is for it to be warmer and dryer than normal- everyone fancy a trip to the Yorkshire dales next time? Promise I wont let my GPS lead me astray up farm tracks.......

Yep, sorry for that scary detour guys............bit dicey ...........don't think I have ever ridden down anything that slippy. There's more traction on wet grass :eek

Helen on her R1 and Roys mate on the ZZR did really well to stay upright :bow

Sounds like a plan:thumb ...........BTW the GPS was fine , put it down to user error...........oh and also down to the fact that there are still bikers out there who dont realise the adaptability of the big GS and insist on sticking to the sports stuff.;)

You like offroadin' Steven so there shouldn't have been a problem :P..............we weren't quite so lucky on the camera front. Made 2 big mistakes , the first one was changing my mind & coming back the same way as you guys a few miutes behind ya. The second was choosing that very stretch of road to literally bounce the GS off the limiter in 4th before nailing it in 5th down that hill. Saw the camera from quite a long way off because there was nothing in front & hit the brakes but I am confident they saw me too :( I very much doubt that it will be just £60 and 3 points this time :thedummy

Why do I keep ridin into Wales :blast

Yep hope to see a few of you at the pub on Tuesday

And thanks to Roy and Phil for suggesting the rideout, just a shame about the weather in the morning and the fact that we didnt get to see the seaside . Maybe next time :thumb2

Fixed it for ya! Sorry I couldn't make it, but wasn't free until 12.30. :(
See you Tuesday.

You got that fix absolutely spot on . The only time I topped 70mph all day:blast Wrong speed , wrong place.

They knew exactly where to be, nice long arrow straight stretch of road after some slower twisties and just coming out of a 30/40 zone if you are coming the other way. Ready to catch anyone taking the opportunity to nip past some slower traffic.:(

I am hoping they didn't get my plate as it was forward facing and the way they were parked they were really after stuff going in the opposite direction.
