Plaing up on / off after a very serious amount of rain
Any idea before I splash out £250.00 on a new one

There is a drain plug on the RID , it might be blocked ( as in 90% of most cases) if it's been filling up with water for a while, it might be a little late to unblock it

At the risk of sending off on one, fair Steptoe, where is this drain situated?

How does one access it? From the way the RID sits, presumably it's at the rear and you'd need to remove the screen and silver cover thingy ...
