Anyone used one of these? Any good? I've a birthday present due and thought I might ask for one of these? A lad in work has one and it would be handy in traffic for spotting cyclists and errant pedestrians:green gri

Have I put my foot in it?!
Well now,
they're a bit like day glo / spotlights galore / and 'Polite' signs on tabards.
They tend to elicit 'full and frank debate' and 'vibrant exchange of views' from all and sundry :augie .
... usually from people that haven't used one.
When training, i could see the value of one. Sometimes.
BUT it could distract as much as help.
The skill lies in accurately understanding the true position of what you see,
in what is basically the side of a polished stainless frying pan. :D

tell ya what
you get it - when you get bored - give it to me. :P
~~
:D

Lol!

I've a better idea, I'll try and borrow my colleagues unit and try it out!

You no like flowery prose. :( :P

Good heavens no...! This is quite clearly the zenith of literary excellence.....

"Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"

A mirror like that could be handy in a city with mad despatch riders pedal or motorbike types. They appear from nowhere
Even then, I don't feel there is a need for continuous 360 view. The standard mirrors should be enough.
That said I used to have a small sucker mounted mirror on the top side of my fairing. It was handy on busy motorways to cover the offside 3/4 blind spot.

took me a while ...

Well,
i tried babelfish, google translate, an Irish and a Scots gaelic dictionary - i even asked a Welsh linguistic scholar but ...
I still haven't a bulls notion.

:green gri :P :D

It's £40 !!!! Methinks will make do with life savers!
