To be fair, his original thread on here about his trip around Norway on his RKS (and the fabulous photos he took) was the inspiration for me to start seriously considering one (so he's to blame for that too!
)Shame he got rid of it, and also the lovely Road Glide he had in Biaritz!

I’ve put 30k miles on my RKS. Best touring Harley IMHO
Yeah RK or Electra Glide Standard would be my choice. The Electra Glide egos were spot on perfect for me. When I bought the RK I knew up front I'd have to change the seat and bars so just fitted EG Standard ones on it. I needed to cut down the shields on both a couple inches. Add docking hardware allowing fitment of rear rack and passenger backrest, get out the maps, and take off.
Who gives a fuck. Plenty of other models
Nothing compares to a RK, unless you want to waste money on oceans of plastic tat with a R Glide or a S Glide

You just need to go and ride the bikes....Apes will like the road king offerings, always shall.
Soft tails are where it is at and it is a mystery to those who like the exposed shocks affairs.
Soft tails are the bike to have.....Unless you can get a tubed frame Buell, then you shall know the sounds, the vibes and the roads...More powerful than any HD and ultimately more satisfying in every way.
HD`s are now for poofs, in every way.
