Road King - what to check..

Went to HD open day this weekend to see a Road King (swayed by that lovely one that used to be owned on here). Came away thinking the Breakout and Softail Heritage were super smashing lovely

How did this descend into a preferred cookie thread ? What have I missed ?

Oh....and they're biscuits. Don't start with that 'fender/cookie/bitchin' sled' groove thang.

Alright, I'll explain the logic (?!!!???) in a little more detail:
1. Thread about Road Kings
2. Martin from Canada posted something unrelated about his favourite thing (it was his first post).
3. I follow on with the 'favourite things' subject. Mine, admittedly was a little more random – biscuits ('cookies' to you Martin)
4. My reasoning: I sensed Martin was going to come under a little fire for his slightly bizarre post. I thought I would deflect some of the blows early on by talking about biscuits. Sadly, Doris had smelt blood but was sidetracked enough I feel. The others? Well...lets just say it isn't difficult to divert their attention...ooh look aeroplane!
5. Martin...you owe me one.
Oh...and they're fucking aubergines...and they're ok if you put them in something like a Thai green curry ie. something with a lot of flavour.
Martin is probably "one of us" hence the sudden spontaneity and slightly left field nature of his first post.

I was merely trying to increase our reputation on the world stage. Don't go in the Beakchat section whatever you do Martin. It will do nothing to dispel the notion that we are a nation of in-bred island dwellers.
I've just had an offer accepted on a house that's on Hayling Island....it has a bridge and everything !! That means I can take Island dwelling to a new level.
