Just a quick update on our annual boys biking trip..this year to Romania.

As we were all too time constrained to drive there and back we flew into Bucharest and hired through Romania motorcycle tours and with Maria booked an 8 day tour with a day in Bucharest either end.

We ended up with 6 x GS1300s and 2 x GS1250s although she has 70 bikes including 1300GSA if you book early enough.

Stops included Sibiu, Brasov, Sigisohara, and included the Transalpina and Transfargarasan along the way. Planning was difficult for her as the Transfargarasan only opened the day we went up it after months of being closed, and the same for the Transalpina, otherwise the route planning would have been easier.

Bikes were extremely well maintained, with Touratech luggage, inner bags if you needed them, and GPS (Garmin XT/XT2) on every bike.

The trip was epic in every respect. Maria made the whole thing very easy..picked us up and dropped us at the airport, lent the guys any kit they needed, and organised some absolutely lovely hotels close to the medieval old towns where we stopped. The country is beautiful with some stunning roads…The Cheia Pass was a standout run through the mountains on some beautiful roads.

Maria’s business WhatsApp number is +40 731 141 931 and mention James Shepard sent you (I might go back for another go! ;))

A taster for you…
