Rough Running GS 1150

Hello.I have just completed a winter service on my 03 gs1150 Twin spark, i put it all back together and fired it up in the garage on tick over no probs. As soon as i ride the bike down the road it will not let me use more than 1/4 throttle before the bike shuts down as such,then it jumps back to life misfiring and juddering until it cuts out completly..
Ive checked the fuel system/supply and all seems to be in order. Ive checked all electrical connections no probs, the only minor difference from before is some Brisk plugs and a k&n filter.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the throttle cables?

Hi, yes i have checked the seating of the cables on the carbs and the throttle operation and its seems to be ok, the grip snaps closed if i let go from fully open postion.
The funny thing is its seems ok when sat in neutral i can rev it, but the problem returns when the bike is under load eg me riding it!

Hi, i serviced/changed the following things.

Plugs,air filter,fuel filter,oil filter,new clutch friction plate,brakes,alternator belt,took the battery off for a charge as i havent used the bike for bit.
My bike has done 55k with pervious f.s.h but has never caused me a problem until now. I did a quick check on the HT leads in dark to check for any shorting issues but i dont see anything. Could it have anything to do with the hall sensor i have seen on other posts?
