In essence it’s the same thing. But the seasonality and size of the market makes it so different.Really when it comes to bikes? How so
Expect to see a shop full of “Chinky Shite” then, as some will call it.Looks like something is happening at the Pidcock site.
I doubt it’ll be just a used bike shop for long. MotoGB is a uk importer for all Chinky and Indian bikes by the looks of it. Meaning that they might be planing a Voge or multi brand dealership come spring/summer. For now they just thinking that having acquired the space, it needs to be put to good use straight away and earn back some investment cash. One problem I feel the new owners will have is that they are too close to the Superbike Factory at Donington Park. They have a vast stock of all sorts of bikes, together with clothing, accessories, cafe etc with very good road access, and they both may be competing for the same market.

I live locally and pop in now and again, not sure I’ve ever buy a bike from SF, especially this branch, a lot of there stock is utter shite, and I did some work for a fella whom worked there and he told me they swop parts around off other bikes making a shiita slightly better.
The staff are not very knowledgeable and read off an iPad, If you purchased a bm from them and wanted to know how stuff worked they would often send you to piddy’s.
But people do buy from them. A lot of non discerning customers. Was at the SB Factory the other weekend for a coffee and a meet up with some mates. Had a look around and they had a door open to the inner courtyard which you cannot normally see. Must have been over 200 bikes stored out there fully open to the elements and rusting away
Would be very wary of buying a bike from them!
