I see a couple of people who put what looks like rubber sheeting on the top of their panniers, I presume to make them non-slip.

Where can you get this stuff? I'm guessing that it's adhesive backed.

Any gasket supply or engineering merchants should stock it. It is known as 'rubber insertion', available in several thicknesses, ie, 3, 5, 6 and 8mm.
The stuff we use has to be 'evostick'-ed, so use contact adhesive (in ventilated area.....:augie).

Have you tried the Adult shop on Harold's Cross bridge Sascha?

Is it fitted to give better grip when the bike's upside down? Like the vinyl roof on a car?
