Rukka 2010 models

Good evening

A dealer showed me his catalog for the 2010 models. At home I googled it and found some information on a Norwegian site...to bad that this is not my language.

Here the new Aram-x called now Arma-S

Infinity have good discounts on Rukka at the mo so the new range is obviously on the way, got a full Allroad suit for £900 so around a £200 saving.

I will have to try this jacket when it comes out - riding along the M4 in the winter is guaranteed to be two things; cold and wet.

Been told the Allroad is being replaced by the Kalahari jacket which is already on the current range

I have a friend working at Riders in Bristol who is speaking to their supplier so he can get another copy of the Rukka catalogue to send to me. Then I'll be able to answer some Rukka questions

They don't normally stock Rukka but as their supplier covers Rukka along with other stuff he can get their kit if needed.

Apparently the model shown in the picture above won't be available until Feb 2010.

That zip looks very much like the one on my BMW drybag thing, it's nigh on airtight, let alone water tight.

I used to have a Rukka jacket I bought in 1998, it was a good length in the back, about the same as my BMW Tourguard jacket. The more recent Rukka stuff seems to be a lot shorter in the back, and designed to work only when connected to their trousers. I don't like fabric trousers unless it's bucketing down, so unless they start selling long jackets again, I don't think I'll be going for their kit.

The Rukka allroad is long at the back, shorter at thr front with a crotch strap to hold the jacket in place which suits me as i wear leathers for the lower half
