Just purchased a Rukka Athos (blue) from Biker-Land (Germany).
Did the deal over the phone and asked for the best price which came in at EUR409 (GBP344). With back protector and shipping EUR452 (GBP380).
Best price in the UK - around GBP460!

A lot of people say a lot of good things about Biker-Land, and financially it's hard to argue with the figures.

The UK retailers must be very aware of sales they're losing to Germany, and must be starting to think they should rethink their prices? :nenau

I looked at bikerland.de when i was looking for an Athos jacket and unit trousers about 4months ago. I like to try stuff on before I buy so looked round for a UK stockist I could visit to do it. I found Moto Central in Nuneaton through a quick search and rang them because they had a price match policy that included matching Bikerlands prices. I got an Athos jacket and Unit trousers for £610 against a retail price of around £800+. The staff were very helpful and I was really happy with the deal they gave me. As far as im aware they still have a worldwide price match policy.

You would think so but the importers are still pricing Rukka stuff way above the prices in Europe. I bought a Kalahari suit from Bikerland De just before Christmas. The price for both jacket and trousers, including delivery was £701. The retail price of the jacket in the UK at the time was £730 and the trousers £515, so a very worthwhile saving.

I bought some rukka armas trousers from louis.de before christmas for £450...they're £699 here.

My dealer is a Rukka retailer, among many other brands, and they get the «Can you try and match this price?» treatment all the time. So, now they have decided not to give in, and stick with their (very high) prices. One thing that plays in their favor is that if there is a problem with the garment under warranty, it's gonna be a lot of trouble and cost a lot of money to get it back to Bikerland, and then back here, especially from this side of the pond. Unless the Rukka distributor in Canada can be compelled to honour the warranty. Which I think they must.
