Adventure riding at the very cusp of insanity....:thumb2

only about 10 weeks to go....:augie

I've been abit of a slacker and haven't done much about this....:augie been busy with stuff and things....

so perhaps a roll call would be good, plus there's a very good chance the weather will be awful.... it's a proper adventure...:D

C90 extreme (as the rules say anything goes as long as it's old, shit and small cc 125 or less)

current riders and their machine

Green C90 with top box = me
Red C90 with the knowledge panel = duncan
Brown C90ish with light switch ignition mod...:thumb2 = Adrian

the extreme trifle boys are on yamaha's 70's or 90's someone from Adv rider is on a steppy of some sort....

Proff....?

I'll draw the finishers medal next week once I've have a minute to myself.

also in the dis-interest of health and safety, general disorganisation as we won't know each other from adam till we all arrive at John O groats. I thought it best so we know who's in on it and we don't by accident talk to normal folk who might be out on a C90 holiday enjoying the fresh air in the carpark at JoG.

I thought we should all wear a similar outfits...:D this sprang to mind.... unless you fancy the snake skin boots in the for sale section....:augie

can't do it just had word from the consultant I did rupture a disc in my neck,

Fuck i'm going... I've been feeling sorry for myself for ages and to be honest when they put a scan infront of you and show you how much it's all messed up... it is a depressing sight.

Nothing like abit of fresh air to clear the brain cells...

:D

I meant to update this thread but I've been busy trying to find a forkilft truck to move a box full of bags....:augie

fate is a powerful force and currently I've got a hand ful of fate that says I should be attending my pre-op meeting with the neuro surgeon on the 30th March. conisdering i'm supposed to be on the way on the 31st to scotland to take part in my own stupidity.... this is all becomeing more complex and just a little bit messy...

but i thought I'd share my scan

picture one is the bad disc, two where it mushrooms out and infringes on the spinal cord and nerve endings, three where it traps the nerve. the other angle is better but i can open that set of images on this computer.

I guess the moral of the story is don't stand under 100kg things that fall from a height on your head....:blast

once I've had my meeting I'll know what to do... stay at home and be ill or go mental and ride....:augie

I might do this again last year I had two trips out on the bike, and now it's starting to do me in. Just got the check into when Easter falls this time around, check out us in Chris's Show reel... about 1 minute in.... I'm gonna cut the film of our trip... it's not an adventure till it all falls appart....
