Can anyone out there give me an idea of what kind of mileages they're getting out the Metz Sahara 3 tires? I'm riding an 04 Adventure and getting ready to change out from my second set of Conti 80's. I would like to find a tire that will run longer than the 80's, but are a bit more aggressive than the Tourances. The Tourances run on long legs but aren't aggressive enough for my style of riding here in the wilds of Arizona.

If anyone knows of a good tire, front/rear that has a long tire life and can handle sand and gravel I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks all!!!

Those desert tyres are supposed to be hard compound with very stiff side walls for running very low pressures. They're supposed to be very puncture resistant because of this, especially if you run them with heavy duty inner tubes. If, however, you run on tarmac, you will sacrifice grip due to the serious knobbles and hardness of the compound. If you're on dry desert trails you should find them better than the TKC's for wear rate. Best advise is to give em a go.
