Regs are out for this event that was entered by a few tossers last year.

Entry forms have been sent to those who competed in Feb event but don't appear to be available online yet.:(

Can we get a good crowd together again this year?

I'm in.:)

Got the regs - will send back the entry this weekend. It was a superb event,my first enduro.Very friendly crowd who made the event very straight forward.I would urge anyone to have a go and enjoy parts of the plain that are normally out of bounds.

where can i find an entry i will do it on the hp2 mm will i get it around or is it all deep ruts like dyfi

Im interested in this event, never done a enduro before, would it be possible on my gsa

Where do you find out about it.

The club website is at: http://www.setra-enduro.co.uk/

Unfortunately, they haven't updated it yet for the November event but keep looking there and it should come up soon.

There is a contact email on the site: [email protected]

Last November was terrible weather with strong winds and driving rain making conditions very difficult at first. Apparently this was unusually bad but as it was my first ever enduro I didn't know any diiferent.

One HP2 entered but he was unable to complete the first lap due to the extreme conditions. If it had been dry I'm sure he would have made it around without problems. I managed to get my GS1100 around a similar course at the previous years HogRaost so a GSA12 would be fine in the dry but nearly impossible if conditions are terrible.

Its a great opportunity to ride some fantastic areas of the Plain for 3 hours in a fun environment and a great day out. Officials are all very helpful and want you to fun in a safe manner.

Horse ,
I think it may be a bit tough on the GSA especially if its wet.If you follow the link to this photo site you can see pictures of all the riders and it will give some idea on the terrain. These were from Feb 09 when it was dry.The track runs across the tank testing area just outside tidworth.

the thing about tidworth is, in the wet traction is somewhat elusive to say the least. it would be next to impossible for anyone but a very skilled rider to get round on a GSA.

in the dry, the course tends to be very fast and can be very punishing on the bike and rider DAMHIK.

Id rather be taking part, dont do spectating. Use to race moto x, but now just own a gsa :blast

Well roll on the Hog Raost.:thumb2

are you saying that i wont get around on the hp2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

salisbury

Will my corroded, rusty old GSA 1150 get round if i change the half-dead Tourances on it?

(Just been looking at pix of the shiney s/h GS up for sale on here and I think I'm now too ashamed to ever let my filthy old hack out in the daylight again!

I will enter this event if there is 2 other GS or GSA riders who enter it as well. I might not be able to get my tank round, but it will be a laugh trying. Anyone up for make a arse of themselves.:blast

Its not like greenlaning thats for sure, some bits are quite steep and slippery, be hard to climb and decend, some bits in the wood are a bit technical, steep cambered climbs and decents with exposed roots to wash the front wheel, there are one or two to deep mud sections that would be hard to get a boxter engine through, a couple of the ruts there is no way round, if you did take a gs there you would want to be very good.:thumb2

David

Are you going to be there again?

My son Martin has now decided that he also wants to enter on his CRF so we will make it a family event.

Horse

Go for it! Even if you find a section that is impossible on the GSA nobody would mind if you cut out a section, it's not like you are going to be challenging for the lead.:D
