I'm off to Corsica at the end of the month and was wondering if it's worth getting the ferry across to Sardinia.
I'll be camping and time is not an issue.
Best places to see, towns, beaches and some hikes and roads to ride?

Did you see the Freddie Dobbs recent ride to Sardinia on YouTube?

Might be worth a watch?

Simon., in my opinion defi worth a go, beautiful roads, not as mountainous as Korsika but different, Italian food, nice camp sites.
Lots campsite are for tin boxes but you will fit in, no worries…I see there is a ferry from Barcelona to Sardinia……
I have aTourenfahrer somewhere which has details of a tour….
Go to tourenfahrer.de and check their tours…
Take care

Thanks Albert, and I knew Richard would come up with something, and yes, I've watched Freddie.

Richard, what do the dots represent?

From recent reports by a fellow bod…

Sardinia is a fair bit cheaper at the southern end compared to the Northern bit.
Ferry from Corsica to Sardinia is 1 hour at the narrowest point.
Roads are flip flop from left to right and averaging 20-30mph when using more twisty bits heading for the mountains.

Yeah, I've been to Corsica some years ago in my Caterham and the locals didn't like been ruled by the French.

We did a tour of Sardinia a few years ago. It was a fly, rent trip using Motorentsardinia. They provided the bikes, the accommodation and the GPX routes. The deals they must have with hotels meant we got to stay in some very nice places. Great hotel, great roads, great food and pretty good weather. Highly recommended.

If you go, put on brand new tyres.

The asphalt in Sardinia is amazing. Grippy as hell, but wears through tyres at a way faster pace. :)
