I've spoken again to the booking folks at the NT site and they are backing off from a larger group. Had a long chat but they are firm they do not want 'groups' of more than four camping.
I explained it would be middle aged couples not hoolies and we would be arriving separately but they are saying due to anti-social behaviour this policy was introduced in the last year.
The blurb in the website simply states no booking required for pitches or a field is available for large groups - which is what i was told when I first rang. It appears we are un-wanted
I've spoken to another site in the lakes that have a pub. (b&b also)

I wasn't originally expecting there to be too many of us up for this but lets see what can be sorted. If anyone can suggest other sites in the lakes to try with a pub close by please PM me.

We will probably have to put a limit of 10 to each ride and 10 max to one campsite but lets see who's interested in what and what can be booked.
Doc Savage has given an alternative site for me to try also with all that's required
eek(B&B) in the 37ft motorhome - central heating and drying facilities, I'll leave the camping in feb for the SAS 
I'll be up Sat for a ride A few pints for me, then up the apples and pears

if it's ok with people i'd rather do the off road on the sunday ??
so i can do the road run on the saturday with the rest of you chaps because the are lanes for the gs up there but not enough to keep us going all day. for example the GS can be very spaced out
I was thinking two separate runs on the Sat would keep the groups smaller but join up for lunch.
If it makes more sense to do a road ride all together Sat then thats fine by me
The only consideration for an off road run Sunday is what time it would be finished because of packing up tents etc.
The other option would be to combine the two with dodge arounds for the non nutters
Best plan is to go with what ever suits those who are up for the off road
, i know all the lanes in the Lakes, done around 90% of them, but post Nerc bill i've not been that much , So i'm just updating my maps and what lanes a GS can do...but the lanes in genral are slighty harder than the run we did in the peaks...this i'll have to make clear to folk . but we can help each other and take a slow pace on harder sections.. because i love the crack with each other coming off but i did not think for one minute we would have so many downs on sunday, which i did not laugh at other than my silly off..if we was on the smaller bikes it would have been funny.. but not on the gs ers.. then again if pispter came off i would have died and gone to heaven as long as it was a gental off
