sat nav bracket

for those who use/have a sat nav on their windscreen bar

what are you using where you get it and any pics

i want to fit mine there, its a better place i think than where i had it before, on a ram mount on the bars.

I'm using the bmw bracket for my zumo 660, it's available from bmw dealers for about the £20 mark as I remember. No piccies or part numbers as i'm at work

Zumo 550 on Touratech bracket on top windscreen brace on 1200 Adventure. Wired into Autocom unit. Tend to use it as a speedo in daily riding as it fits in my line of sight better that way.

I used the bracket fron the Zumo 550 kit and bolted it to the screen bracket. Hope this photo works:

Recently bought a Garmin 220 and that came with a ram mount designed to fit over the handlebar and replace part of the clutch fitting.
Ten mins. looking at a better option and I adapted it to fit on the windscreen support bracket. It is ideally placed above the speedo and is easy to fit or remove.

Glad it helped, it's a good solid mounting and doesn't vibrate there

i have a gsa, and a tom tom rider, and the mount from the tt wont clamp to the cross brace of the windshield

i only need a pic of how they mount, i can sort the wiring, or is there a fitting, someone mentioned bmw do a mount of some nature.

Yes thats the one, I think they call it a navigator bracket, I would give you the part number but I cant find the original invoice and I discarded the manual it came with, it was the size of the Argos catalogue for some reason

I use the Migsel mount which clamps to the upper screen support bar. It's a big lump of aluminium and I find it doesn't suffer from the vibrations I used to get with the Ram mount migsel Not cheap new but they do come up for sale on here from time to time......thanks to Wapping for mine

Sorry the pics are not so good especially through the tinted screen! But I'm a few thousand miles from my bike in Saudi right now so can't really nip into the garage for a couple of snaps.

Just another question- Is there room to stash the extremely long cable neatly behind the clocks or somwhere? Got the BMW bracket, and the canbus connector... don't get the bike until next wednesday
