Satnav mounts. Which ones do you use?

Hi

Can't seem to attach the sketch for some reason, can I email it to you?

You could text me an email address to 07903 834792 if you don't want to put it up here.

Thanks

Your freshly designed mount on its way to you this weekend Andrew, thanks for the info

On a 2008 1200 GS is there a connector provided under the tank somewhere a purpose installed connector for a GPS installation?.

Under the beak. Hafe a look under it around the oil cooler area. Should be a 3 pin plug with a blank in it.

Many thanks for that thinking of a change but mean to keep the mount.

Touratech lockable for my zumo 660 works a treat
Touratech's concoction of bent aluminum sheet is a thing of singular uglyness. A triumph of utilitarian function over form. It may work a treat, but looks like it's made of mechano. :barf In my opinion of course.

I toyed with various ideas and locations from bar mounts to aftermarket brackets but ended up just making my own using the Montana bracket, BMW bar and a simple bracket. I thought it would be to prominent and get in my LOS but in practice it's not in the way at all, either of the clocks or road. If I was being anal I could have routed the wire through the ext bar, but that would have meant re-making some connectors and would have been a pain to remove again.
