scabby wheels

i have neglected the wheels for a few weeks and they have now got a lovely spotty black finish. what`s the verdict? is it terminal? How do clean the feckers off? TIA

I gave up on mine a long time ago,in the winter they get grease sprayed on them to stop the salt eating them,and in the summer they don't.You could waste your life cleaning the bloody things,and I prefer to ride mine than clean it.Have fun
