So the 2018 Urban I've ordered has Scorpion Rally STRs fitted.
I'm used to road-focussed tyres and so am a little apprehensive about them. Before I bought my R nineT Scrambler a few years back, I test rode one with the OEM 'knobblies' and didn't get on with them - that sudden 'drop' you feel as you're cornering got me every time!
I'm already thinking I'll need to spend on a new set of road tyres for the new bike, BUT I've read that the STRs are actually pretty good on-road... some saying they're as good or even better than road tyres.
Can anyone shed any light on their experience with them?
Obviously I'll try them out, but I'm just figuring out my budget for all the other things I want to buy for the bike and could do without another £250-300 on tyres
