Getting close to that time of year again, if any of you are interested in the sport of motorcycle trials then think about a long weekend away or even all week.
The Scottish Six Days Trial will run from Monday 1st May 2006 till Saturday 6th May 2006, in Fort William. There is a Pre '65 event on the Friday and Saturday prior to this based around Kinlochleven.
A good opurtunity to get the GS out into the Highlands of Scotland, some of the best biking roads, and the scenery is fantastic, if you don't beleive me ask GC.
Remember it is Bank Holiday Monday on the 1st so a Long Weekend is ideal.
For those of you that have never seen trials, definately worth going to one of the premier events in the UK, and laugh at us silly buggers throwing bikes up sometimes the impossible.
This will be my 23rd year competing (see my last year post!!), and having competed on 2 stroke power all those years, I have now got a Montesa(Honda engine) 4 stroke, so looking forward to it.
I ukgser member did say hello to me last year, but I had just had a big off in a fairly easy section, as I carry a 4" metal plate and 8 screws in my left collar bone, I actually thought it had snapped, so apologies for not speaking to you too much.
So if any of you are up there, please give me a shout, it is great to have a bit of support
Cheers

Still get asked sometime (in jest) if I'm related. So as long as you ride like you think you have some Lampkin in you I'm sure you'll do fine
This will be my 4th year catering for the Sherco team, have to say I enjoy it really.
