Screen adjustment

Hi guys,

I took delivery of my new GSA yesterday but i cant adjust the screen, read the owners manual, loosened the two plastic side screws and the bugger dont move

Even with a reasonable amount of force it aint moving, i darent push any harder incase i break anything. What am i doing wrong

If memory serves, I undid the plastic screws completely on mine, as the teeth on the locking mechanism are quite deep. Set the screen where you want it, then replace the screws and tighten as requried. Don't overtighten.

Exactly the same with mine

Hi Matt,
I had exactly the same problem with mine when I collected it a couple of weeks ago, I asked the technician to look at it when I took it in for it's 1st service.
He had to unwind the nylock nuts on the other end of the black adjuster (inside the beak) to give the adjuster more clearance. Took him about 20 seconds. Should have been done during the P.D.I but they must have missed it.
Hey presto.....it now adjusts!
