Any tall Tossers out there who have tried the TT screen extender thingies? I am just under 6ft 5ins and on an '02 bike - I get a bit of head battering at motorway speeds with the regular screen currently fitted. Has anyone out there got experience of the taller, wider Nippy Norman screen? Is it better than a Vario? Or would the TT screen extender do the job? Thoughts please?

TT extender

I had one on my 1150, brilliant, could ride at all peeds wit the visor up, but too good would not blow rain from the visor at all so took it off.

I use one and love it, I can sit at any 90+ without any buffeting. For me it's one of the best items I've bought, I bought it to use it on my 1150GSA, when I sold the bike I kept the spoiler and put it onto my std 1150GS. AS Steptoe says, it's a very personal thing :thumb2

I've found the same thing. They also bugger up your view of the track ahead if you're off road. Good on long fast runs though.

I have an ADV screen that i'm looking to trade for a stock screen for an 1150.

we would need to trade the fitting as well, as the ADV screen has different attachment points.

PM me if interested.

Tobinators

Fitted tobinators just over a week ago, ADV screen 6'4", rather disapointed although it's better at head height i think most of the problem is from round the "wings" at the sides and they haven't helped.

So i guess it's as the others say it's what works for you and you have to try em to find out:confused:

I'm 6'5 in socks.. bike has an XX High seat (37") and am more than happy with the Vario. In fact aside from the seat I believe its the best aftermarket part I've bought for the bike so far.
