So am considering changing in my 2019 1250 rallye, for the 1300, however I really don’t like the front end view from the seat. Compared to the 1250 it feels like it’s insubstantial and has lost that secure presence the 1250 has, if that makes sense?

Appreciate this is my head, but wondered if there are any mods out there, tinted winglets, cockpit covers etc that could address this?

My head says my 35k bike is ready for the upgrade, but my heart says I love it too much. Has anyone regretted the move?

I know exactly what you mean,I replaced the clear winglets with tinted ones from wrs i think it was ,looks better in imo.
Coming from a 1250 It took me a couple of months to gel with the bike, the bloody awful sounding engine and the whine took some getting used to.Love it now,11,000 mles in with a trip last year to Norway and the Pyrenees this year with a pillion. My wife still prefers the 1250 however for comfort.

The 1300gs is faster, more economical , handles better but I honestly wished I”d kept my 1250GSA as I loved it and it was faultless.

First 1300 rejected after multiple issues. Second ones last ride was returning from the dealers after having battery and all of the suspension replaced.

Great bike when it”s running, would I buy another? No.
