Screen question for Thunder

Hi Thunder,

Just a quick question about your screen, i have read all the posts on screens ( well it was only tennis on yesterday and i had a spare 6 hours)

I like the look of your tinted GSA screen on your Changes to 2008 post and just wanted to know, is that a BMW tinted screen or an aftermaket version.

If is is an aftermarket where did you buy it from and will it fit striaght on to my shortly being delivered R1200GS.

Have a look at the second thread down, its there, but be warned when i called them they said the screen and all the extra bits to fit it comes to nearly £500.

Ive ordered a nippy norman screen to see if that helps.

Not true. just fiited one to my 08 GS £279.00 from BuMW for all the bits.

I had the NN screen on my 07GS great as it was, not a spot on the GSA tinted screen.

anyone thought about or even tried tinting a standard screen, with the same tinting film they tint car windows with????

it would never curve enough to do that.... you do get tinting sprays but I've only used them on indicators
