I'm sure I've seen a post that had details of screen raising spacers on the std LC.
Can't seem to find them now.

I'm currently running with some plastic spacers in top two screen mounting screws, which is perfect for me, lifting the screen angle that little bit that I need.

They are a bit scruffy though.

Anyone know of a decent replacement to space out the screen a little?

Ta,

Mike.

Spacing the screen out was a suggested mod. on the Explorer site. Some claimed it improved what was recognised as a poor standard setup. Much worse that our LC. I'm not sure it helped. I was interested to see that our bike's standard arrangement uses a small deflector inside the screen to create a flow up the inside of the screen. This system is offered as standard on the successful Madstad Engineering (USA) after market sceens.

I'm happy with the spacing - it does the job, putting a little extra lift on the screen, so I have a buffet - free ride.

It's just that I've used some plastic bracket blocks, and it looks shabby.

Has anyone seen any aftermarket spacers?
