Any views on the best aftermarket screen for a 1300 GS TE
?

I'd be interested to hear also. The stock one gives far too little protection even at full height.

I had to change the screen on my 1300 GSA as the BMW std one produced too much buffeting and noise for my liking !! 5ft11 on a std seat. So I bought a Wunderlich Marathon Pro for a bike with dynamic cruise control ! It is much better very quiet touring screen up to over 130 KPH or 80 mph , if fact you will be adjusting the screen down at slow speed for extra air flow. Welcome to view it if you are near Oxford https://www.nippynormans.com/wunder...creen-r1300gs-r1300-adventure-tint-with-radar

It might be worth trying one of these add on screen deflectors. It's works for me on previous 1250 & now on current 1300gs.
Don't need to buy an expensive one. They're less than £20 off AliExpress.

I saw on another thread the stock screen has two mounting positions. Going to try this later...

R1300gs. Stock screen in the higher bolt fitting…… fine for me at 5’10, standard seat.
Far better than the 1250gs screen imho.

If yours is currently in the lower holes moving it up to the higher ones should make quite a difference. (You can see the two sets of holes in the photo on my previous post.)

I think it is impossible to say -"The best screen is...." as it depends on a lot of different factors that are personal to you.

I bought the GSA tall screen and it works for me.

I agree, selling my 1200 GSA had the Puig touring screen with deflector for years, I am 6’ 4” so not small this has given perfect riding basically in a bubble so would like to try and replicate that in a 1300GS TE 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I had the same setup on my 1250 GS but tried it on the 1300 and it was not the same

I was reluctant to get the GSA screen as it is expensive - but it worked for me

Thanks for that Info, which GSA did you buy then.

I just ordered a Givi touring one for mine so hope it's a lot better as the original one is very low for me even at its highest configuration.

Don't suppose you've still got the R1300GSA screen?
