Seasonal Closures

Just planning a tour along the Pyrenees for next summer. I am having trouble getting the route to follow the roads I am wanting to follow and, as they go of passes, I am thinking I am being hindered by 'seasonal closures'.

So does MRA account for these and, if so, how do i turn them off?

Under routing options, in the tool kit there is an option for the seasonal closure.


(don't be afraid to click buttons in MRA and see what they do - you can't break anything and usually find useful tools!)

I have found ‘Route Options’ on the App on my phone. But if using the website, I cannot find it

Its under the page menu, in the blue bar at the top.

Page menu > tool kit > routing options

If you are still having problems with routing, due to road closures. You can try switching to MyRoute’s TomTom maps, which sometimes uses different closure information.

If you still can’t route as the road is closed today but you know it will be open when you go in say, July, you can use MyRoute’s ‘Direct routing’ tool, to force the route along.
