Seat Position

The bike was actually designed with the higher position as „standard“, but use whatever you feel the best for you. I use both, the higher setting for trackdays or riding in alpine passes where I want to have more control, and the lower for off-road, traveling and cruising. Something I change the seat position more than once a day.

just to clarify my earlier post above, I've raised my seat by 30/50/70mm depending on where you come from, both front and rear. Spacing to the tank looks OE, even much more so with the BMW tank bag attachment (I've got the 2010 small one)
I don't care too much about how the bike looks (well Givi screen is the, or past, the limit) , i want to feel good on my bike. I do, rear tyres usually don't get passed 4000mls , fronts not much more. The optional high, flat seat (it's the same as standard but 20mm higher in the middle) allows one to move forward easily. And from a distance the high seat looks pretty good. I don't have the rear seat installed, if needed the vario box is in that postion for rain gear etc.

My wife's got her own bike - best investment ever:) for many reasons:)
