Seat repair

[Comfy Old Boots]

One of the previous owners cut the foam on my saddle. Prob a short arse. The cut is uneven and Is wrecking my head. What are my options here?

If GasBoy is having his seat completely re-modelled by Tony Archer then he may not be bothered about how your seat is. Why don't you drop him a PM to see what way he wants to work it? What have you to lose?

Where abouts in Dublin are you? My brother in law has his own upholstery business near the Walkinstown roundabout on the Greenhills road.
He might be able to help you. He used to do all the seats with very tricky stiching on the Vespa's for scooter island so the GS one would be no bother to him as he has seen mine.

I'm northside about three miles from city centre.

Do you think he could replace the foam with the same shape as the origional? In terms of the stiching, I had a look and it's just stapled down so no deft fingers needed!
