Seat Slide

My gs1150 has the seat on its lowest setting(short inside leg 30 inch) because of this i am constantly sliding toward the tank when i shut of the throttle or brake
I have tried non slip matting but becomes uncomfortable when wet from the rain is there anything else i can do ie a non slip tape i could use if there is can you give me some info on where to get it etc

y would low setting make u slide, it doesnt tilt it?, get it re covered,try tony archer

Are you sure you have the seat on its lowest setting front and rear? It is possible to tilt the seat by having the front in the low slot and rear in the high. If it's ok in the high position it should still be ok in low as it should be at the same angle

I don't think i have a low setting on the rear hence the bike seat tilts forward,i will double check but i am sure( unless the previous owner has altered something)

Mount at rear is same as front but a bit obscured by the frame, look carefully

Sex wax is grippy as hell, but it'll make a right mess of your seat / trousers (its natural environment is surfboards)

There is a post on here somewhere about putting spacers under the two front mounts to level the seat and stopping you sliding forward. It will be an old one as I did it 4 or 5 years ago.
