OK, there has been quite a few threads about stolen bikes etc, but a question to the collective:-

When using a ground anchor, where do you thread the chain through on your bike, the wheels, frame ??

Out an about I put a chain through the front wheel/Telelever arm and a post/railings and the trick is to keep the chain completely off the floor, so they can't attack it

If no post, I just put it through the Telelever arm and front wheel

I use an anti pinch pin and squire padlock through rear hub, works really well. I'll be selling them soon if you are interested drop me a PM.

(And yes, I know the chain should be off the ground but it's too long and too heavy)

I don't have an anchor at work so I use a disc lock on the rear wheel and a shackle lock through the front disc and hub. That way they will need to pick it up, good luck with that.

What he said.....anti pinch pin through the hub matched to a squire lock + 19mm chain.
