Apparently the next firmware update for the iPhone due out in a few weeks includes an update to enable the AVRCP function for fast fwd/rewinding music tracks via bluetooth

There are now 3 new clamp units available for the SENA SMH-10 allowing you to use a Flat Mic with the normal speakers, a boom mic with your OWN earbuds and a flat mic with your own ear buds. MrHit.com has all of these available for $34.99 each! Add this to your headset or consider getting a Sena for the first time now that it works for your helmet! DUAL Sets are still $259.99 and Singles are $149.99! MrHit.com

Got mine from www.bikersbarn.co.ukYou can get the Sena SMH10 here

Anyone got one/used one or know where to get one.
The review on webbikeworld gives it the thumbs up!

Having read the above comments I can't see a reply to the question about volume levels being adequate with earplugs. If it isn't i'd say this was a pretty fundamental flaw in the product as most will know that hearing damage results from prolonged riding without plugs. Please can someone confirm. Apologies if I missed the reply, obviously I'm going blind!
GREAT NEW'S after trying my iPhone 4 after update today 09/09/10 Been for a ride and the DENA now skips MP3 tracks forward or Backwards just push the jogdial whilst at the same time turning it forward or Backwards works a treat.... much better. I have only had the SENA a few weeks but getting to like it, next step is to put one on Christine's helmet Shoei Multitec and see how the intercom works?
Anyone tried this product out >>???

to sit in the right position on my multi-tec, Did you have any problems ? , It was either stick or clamp .I have the wisper kit on my hat , so dont want to start cutting chunks out of it ive ended up with sticky velcro on my hat which is annoying knowing how much i paid for the senna and now it looks a bag of
on the side of my lid but the kit works well

Well, I've emailed the guy I bought my Sena SMH10 from telling him I want to return it as faulty. While connected to my iPhone and using it as a stereo headset, audio drops out repeatedly, often for a few seconds at a time. Since that's primarily what I want to use it for (as wireless stereo headphones) it's not much use to me if it doesn't perform well in that regard. Back to ear buds I think.
While Googling to see if anyone else had the same problem, I came across this - different problem but worrying. The tab that holds the transmitter unit in place is definitely flimsy, I'm not surprised they've had problems.
Anyway, YMMV but my suggestion is to avoid them. :-(
