A long way from where I started!
Anyone had any issues with their unit not wanting to power up?

Had been away for a few days and when I tried to turn it on for the ride to work yesterday it lasted about two minutes and cut out and wouldn't turn back on. It showed all the symptoms of a low/flat battery, getting the 4 rising beeps but cutting out before it said hello..

So I plugged it in while in the office to charge it, after a couple of hours the little led went blue to indicate fully charged and then a little later I noticed it was red and charging again. didn't think anything of it.

Suited up for home and got on the bike, switched the 10R on and but the time id travelled 100 mtrs it switched off again, same symptoms.

Now I'm at the office and have it plugged into the charger (which should allow use) but it still does the same, ( 4 beeps, no hello, cuts out) thing...

The unit is about a month old and has been used in normal road conditions, has not been dropped or misused at all.

Any thoughts or experiences from you guys?

Thanks

Hi stumpi

I have had one of my two headsets do exactly the same thing while on holiday last week. Will not charge or power up. Logged a ticket with Sena and they have ignored me for 8 days so also emailed FC-Moto in Germany where I bought them. Mine are around 6 months old. Have you had any joy with Sena on your problem?

Quick update - Sena have finally responded. Asked me to try fault reset procedure (which I'd already done to no avail). Then they said its a warranty issue and I need to contact the company I purchased it from. Still awaiting a response from FC-MOTO in Germany

Yep, had exactly the same, called the place I got it, they told me to blah blah blah which I'd already tried. So he gave me the details for the importer, I sent the main unit back to htem and got it back yesterday replaced no questions asked.

Good luck getting yours sorted mate.
