Serial / Parallel ATA

I've just bought a new internal hard disc for my PC.

Looks lilke I've bought myself a Serial ATA rather than a parallel ATA one

Am I right in thinking I'll have to return it and get the right one?

You can get adapters e.g. but probably easier/cheaper to exchange it.

the drive for when you upgrade to a new PC...if you send me your address I will drop a IDE to SATA adpater with the right power leads in the post to you...no charge, compliments of my company.....
