Service at Dundee or East Kilbride

6000 mile service at East Kilbride today. Excellent service. £213 as quoted inc free engine oil worth over £50. Mechanic advised my rear shock felt bouncy after the test ride, new one under warranty if I need it. :thumby: It pissed with rain all the way there (and back) so went for a fry at Frankie and Bennys instead of taking a WC GS for a run.

I see nobody has voted Dundee, Craig in Aberdeen has gone so little experience there now. I was dissapointed there with my last service had to wait 4 hours for AA to pick me up after my pump controller packed in.

I went into the Dundee place once for a look, got a nice BMW welcome until I said I was in to look at bikes....never been back. Got good service in Furry Boots City, shame there's no bike bloke there now.

The Snecky lot are nae much good so that leaves EK or Dalkieth and on experience EK are better and a lot closer for us.

East Kilbride Douglas Park BMW Motorrad

Had my bike serviced at East Kilbride today. Very happy :) with the work done and noticed an immediate significant improvement throughout my ride home. Much smoother through the gears and runs great at 70mph which it didn't do before. Resisted the temptation to take out any of the new demos thankfully so I'm still married for another year at least :D

Big thanks to all at Douglas Park, especially Scott (service) who was polite and informative at all times.

Cheers

East Kilbride

Can vouch for the service at East Kilbride, got a bit fed up of waiting hours and on occasions most of the day for a service/small warranty jobs. Tried East Kilbride and they allow you to book a time slot (Dalkeith have a first come first served policy )so bike goes in when you arrive and for 12K service took just over two hours. They highlighted a problem with the rear shock so a week later I went down again and 22 min's after arriving I had the keys back! The sales guy insulted me with a trade in value while I was there though so that was a downer but service side is top notch. Never had a problem with quality of work at Dalkeith but I had to wait nearly three hours once to have a rear caliper changed! I was on my way to the farmyard rally so the two mates I was travelling down with were going nuts. When I started to push the service guy he got one of the techs out of his lunch to get it done so a thanks there I suppose. Sales at Dalkeith I can vouch for though as professional and friendly so I will be down soon to check them out again. :thumb
