Service Costs ?

bend over :augie

i cant tell you how much i charge but :censor:

i have an r34 skyline and the 8000miles big service was only 390+vat and that took 6hours at hanlon motorsport :D

yep, i paid about the same, just did my 30k service and paid £50 for oil, thats taking the piss.

£80 an hour at Ocean, I was quoted over £700 for a service on my K1200LT several years ago, I do it myself now, its really not that difficult.

Self service with all parts from CLARKES BMW, provided my own oils,
and brake fluid change
at 22,000 miles all under £60 and done in less than 2hrs ( and as I did it I know it was done properly):thumb
I do wonder why anybody uses a dealership after the warranty is out?:augie
but hey
to each his own:rolleyes:

Strewth
Audi A4 2.0tdi 38000 mile service was only £249 yesterday (loan car included)

...it doesn't keep the warranty going? :nenau

all new bmw now can be serviced by independent tech
and keeps wty but if you take out the extanded wty then it has to go to main dealer as state in small print

willams and chester motradd do all the wty work for me
:comfort

so my advise shop around and make sure the tech fits gen parts and gives you invoice

Coopers - Tunbridge Wells

My R1200GS is booked in for an 18,000 mile service (not annual) and it'll cost me £180 plus VAT. I expect to get the bike "valeted" as part of the service!

An extra £15 if I want a loaner.

My pupence,
I stopped getting my book stamped as it seems the ink costs about £250. I know that my warranty is now out of date and some will be concerned by the fact that it serviced other than at a main dealer. If and when I come to sell my bike I will give the details of the chap who who has looked after to any potential buyer. He has all the BMW badges and best part of twenty years experience, a thoroughly nice bloke who uses only genuine BMW parts. When its worked on its not the office junior its the boss........
He doesnt do loaners though....

Mines due to go in on Thursday for it's 18k service+ 3year service (Yeh I was confused as well) though I will be presenting my 'free oil' voucher to Ocean in Plymouth so that should save a few quid.
