Service costs?

I'm pretty sure the dealership will be paid for the recall/warranty work by BMW UK, so they certainly won't be out of pocket and should therefore do the work as soon as they can book it in, just like any other job.

As said before, get the dealer to do the recall work FOC and take the bike to your indie for the service.

By the way when asked Balderstones were singing the same "yes we'll do it when you bring it in for service" tune too:rolleyes:

Will let you know

Booked it in for a service at the independent. Will then take it to the dealer I bought the bike from and see if they will do the recall work.

Will let you know how I get on. Thanks for all the replies:thumb

My fuel flange recall was done at the the same time as they replaced my bowden cables and exhaust flap valve thingy (again). It was due to be done by a different dealer when they serviced my bike, but I got impatient, ran out ofmiles and did the service myself. They were booked up too far in advance doing recalls! I agree, they must be being paid by someone to do the recall work..
