Just had the 12k andd anual service done at Vines of Guldford. Had an issue with brake judder ,new front discs fitted under warranty (no new pads tho) Brakes fine now. Total cost Including £25 for a loan bike! £342.46 Any coments?

No doubt some other bods will come along though and either say you should have done it yourself or that their mate in Aberdeen got his done by Wee Jimmy for £26 and a bag of chips..... or that BuMW in Portsmouth don't charge for loan bikes... or that the pads should have been done, too, as they will have chamfered themselves to the shape of your old disks and now you will die....

Absolutely - I'd have persuaded them into changing the pads as well. In fact, I did just that when I needed new discs at 3K miles on my '04 bike.

Yup they should have changed the pads, £25 for a lone bike is a joke.

Still under warranty so had to let them do the sevice, i have run my own garage so am suprised the pads wernt changed, as it normal practice to replace discs and pads together.

Yes and I meant that I persuaded my BMW dealership into replacing the pads under warranty when they did the discs.

Bristol Motorrad don't charge for a loaner.
The pads should have been changed too.
The Service price seems about average / verging on the expensive.

Did you tell the dealer that at the time?

Will you be going back to the dealer brandishing UKGSer replies? Apparently this does work.

Will you be changing them yourself, now?

Please Note this was an anual plus a 12k condition based service valve clearance, oil and filter10/50 fully synthetic, diff and gear box oil + brake fluid changed, throttle bodies balanced, air filter change, reset service indicator Didnt reset the clock tho!

Indeed it is normal practice that whenever the discs are changed the pads are... this is shoddy to say the least & bloody dangerous at best.
New pads against disc don't provide barely enough contact area, so the thought of fitting worn pads is something i would expect from an "bodger" and worthy of watchdog...

You should have asked them to provide a brake test report to confirm that the brake performance achieves minimum requirement of road worthiness ... IE the MOT test.
