Service for a mate ... oil filter tool

Hello Brother GSers,

Just a quick one for you. I have helped a few mates service their 1150`s and have done all my own servicing on the 1150`s I have owned. Now another mate with a 1200 wants some help with his 12000 mile service. Ive told him we could do with a Haynes manual for torque settings and procedures.

Questions,

Anything else to do other than engine oil/filter, gearbox and final drive oil. Brake and clutch fluid change plus brake inspection. Tappets and end float followed by a throttle balance. Then a cheque of bearings and linkages.

Plus, Can I use my Engin oil filter removal tool from my 1150 on his 1200?

Any constructive input or information appreciated.

clutch fluid never seems to be a service item.

11XX oil filter tool won't fit, you need a different one for the 1200.
