Service interval warning light

Im just about to leave on a 3k European trip on my 2012 RT1200

During this time the service interval will pass.

I have changed the oil and filter and anything else it needed before the trip . My question is that when I pass the service interval as displayed on the trip computer, does the yellow warning light come on and stay on all the time until BMW services the motorcycle?

Not on my 2010. Service was one month overdue and the Service notice stays on the display but no yellow warning light.
Going anywhere nice?

Four of us are catching the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam and onwards to Germany , Switzerland , Italy and Austria......really looking forward to it, I set off at 5am tomorrow morning

Tuscany is great, just remember most places shut on Mondays, we went to Florence on a Monday to go to the Uffizi museum and it was shut, unfortunately we came home on the Tuesday, swmbo was not too happy about Florence being closed.
